BACK TO SCHOOL

We are excited to see everyone back for the 2018-2019 school year!

WELCOME BACK!

First Lutheran looks forward to seeing all of their students at Opening Service on Monday August 6th. At 6:00 bring your super and have some time for fun and fellowship. PTL will be providing desert. At 6:30 we will gather in the sanctuary to give and overview of essential information before dispersing to the classrooms to hear from individual teachers.

School starts on Wednesday the 8th. At 8:30 we join together for our first chapel services and to start the year off in the best way possible: coming together to hear the Gospel and worship Christ together.

But walk into the school.
You’ll see something else at play.
Students may not roam the halls,
But teachers always stay.

They are organizing lessons,
Reading books and counting seats.
Teachers making messes
For the students they will greet.

Teachers painting walls,
Hanging curtains, sewing drapes.
Teachers building websites,
Sharpening pencils, buying tape.

Deliveries are coming in
Boxes dropped off at the door.
But the most anticipated delivery
The students we are waiting for!"
